San Felipe, just 16 miles from Sahuaro Shores, is known as the shrimp capital of Baja California, Mexico, hosts the 23nd annual San Felipe Shrimp Festival on November 6th -8th, 2015. The event celebrates the region’s famous giant blue shrimp, the San Felipe fishermen’s lifestyle and the many culinary delights that can be created with shrimp.
The three-day event features cultural events, entertainment, wine and tequila tastings, and local and regional folk artists.
